Sorting through some old boxes, I found the copy of Myst that I bought back in 1993 when it first came out. Yeah, instant software downloads are nice, but I miss the old days of physical media distribution.

I also found this Voyager Expanded Book edition of Martin Gardner's The Complete Annotated Alice.

Both Myst and this book were built on Hypercard... how we did hyperlinking before HTML ;-)

I recently got the 150th anniversary edition of Annotated Alice, which is a beautiful book, and which will not be rendered useless by the relentless march of technology
